Upwaltham Barns for Hajera & Malcolm by Simon Bedford

Hi and welcome to my very first wedding notebook. Last season was super busy for me & I had hardly anytime to blog or show the wonderful images I was creating week in week out.

So I thought I would share with you some of my highlights from last season starting with the wedding of Hajera & Malcolm at the wonderful Upwaltham Barns……

Malcolm and his groomsmen got ready at his Dads house in Chichester. Very relaxed & alot of fun & banter from the guys … While Hajera & the girls chose the cosy surroundings of Jasmin Cottage at Upwaltham.

The Beautiful summer weather held perfectly & after the ceremony the couple & their guests danced to a traditional Moroccan band in the courtyard; just fantastic!

The Barn looked intimate & the food supplied by Nibbles2Nosh as always was superb; I had some! The speeches were both very funny but also a heartfelt family affair.

The cake was cut in the warm evening sunshine & the first to take a chunk was Malcolm & Hajera’s little boy Yumm!! Afterwards I took the couple off for some time alone where I could make beautiful portraits in the stunning Upwaltham landscape.

The couple returned to cheers & clapping from their loved ones and the party got underway in full swing…

As a photographer I had an amazing day creating images for my couple & their families. I wish Malcolm & Hajera all the very best for the future & hope to see you again in the not too distant future …
