Adam & Stephanie's Stunning Wedding at Careys Manor: Captured by New Forest Wedding Photographer

As a New Forest wedding photographer, I have the privilege of capturing so many beautiful stories, but Adam and Stephanie’s wedding on the 2nd of August at Careys Manor was truly one for the books. Nestled in the heart of the forest, this wedding venue perfectly reflected their stylish yet relaxed vision for their big day. I absolutely adore photographing weddings at Careys Manor and in the New Forest—the setting always inspires me and holds a special place in my heart.

I loved photographing this couple! They are both creative, fun, and completely in love with life—an amazing couple whose energy was infectious. On their special day, every detail reflected their personality — from the incredible dress by Legend Bridal to Adam’s impeccably tailored suit from Aristocracy London as Stephanie’s loving husband-to-be.

Lovely Details & Personal Touches

The styling was beautifully executed, with flowers by Owen Lavin at Little Lillies. Owen even incorporated a striking ram’s head into the bouquet — such a bold piece that matched Adam & Stephanie’s fearless style. There was a lovely bit of detail in the way the smaller blooms and foliage were arranged, adding a personal touch that made the decor truly special. The cake, lovingly designed by Karen Cake Couture, looked almost too good to cut, and it sat proudly as the centrepiece during the reception.

Music played a huge role in their wedding day atmosphere. Guests were entertained by a live wedding rock band supplied by John Bedford Entertainments, and at one point, surprise singing waiters leapt into action! Disguised as the regular staff, they soon had so many people on their feet, conga-lining across the room, singing loudly, and creating unforgettable moments. The relaxed flow of the day meant guests could wait and enjoy the atmosphere without ever feeling rushed.

And just when you thought it couldn’t get any more original, an owl flew the rings in. Yes, really. It was such a magical surprise for the guests and added even more excitement to this already incredible occasion. I made sure to capture a memorable shot of that unique moment.

Photographing Their New Forest Wedding

As a Hampshire wedding photographer, I’m always looking out for those special moments — the glances between the bride and groom, the joy on family members’ faces, the laughter from friends. Adam and Stephanie’s wedding was full of all of this and more. I strive to create authentic photo experiences that truly reflect each couple's unique personality, ensuring every image tells their story.

As a family photographer based in the New Forest, I know how important it is to create a wedding album full of memories that couples will treasure for a lifetime. Adam and Stephanie’s gallery is full of joy, laughter, and love — exactly what a special day should reflect. The photographs from their day are timeless keepsakes, preserving every emotion and detail for years to come.

Tips for Choosing a Wedding Photographer

Choosing the right wedding photographer is one of the most important decisions you’ll make for your special day. Your wedding photos will be treasured for years to come, so it’s essential to find someone who truly understands your vision and can capture every moment in a style that feels authentic to you.

As a forest wedding photographer based in the New Forest, I’ve seen firsthand how the right person behind the camera can make all the difference. Here are a few tips to help you find your perfect match:

1. Look for Experience in Your Chosen Setting

If you’re planning a New Forest wedding or a celebration surrounded by nature, it’s a great idea to choose a photographer who knows the area well. The forest offers unique light and stunning backdrops, and a local photographer will know the best spots and how to make the most of the natural beauty.

2. Review Their Portfolio and Style

Every photographer has a unique approach to capturing weddings. Take time to browse through their galleries and see if their style matches what you envision for your own forest wedding. Do their photos feel relaxed, natural, and full of life? Do they capture the special moments that matter most to you?

3. Meet and Connect

Your wedding photographer will be with you throughout your special day, so it’s important that you feel comfortable and at ease with them. Arrange a meeting or a video call to get a sense of their personality and approach. The right person will make you feel relaxed and excited about your wedding photography.

4. Ask About Their Process

A great wedding photographer will guide you through the process, from planning the timeline to capturing all the important details. Don’t hesitate to ask questions about how they work, what’s included in their packages, and how they handle different lighting or weather conditions—especially important for a forest wedding!

5. Trust Your Instincts

Ultimately, go with the photographer who feels like the best fit for you and your partner. When you feel a genuine connection, it will shine through in your photos and help you enjoy every moment of your big day.

If you’re dreaming of a New Forest wedding and want a photographer who is passionate about capturing the magic of the forest, I’d love to chat and see how we can create beautiful memories together.
